Cancellation
Client-Initiated Cancellations
-
If the client cancels before the project begins, a partial refund may be issued, excluding any administrative or consultation fees.
-
If the client cancels after work has started, the initial deposit (e.g., 30%-50%) is non-refundable, and additional charges may apply based on the work completed.
-
If the project is near completion (e.g., 75% or more), no refunds will be issued.
Studio-Initiated Cancellations
If we are unable to complete the project due to unforeseen circumstances, we will either:
a) Offer a full or partial refund depending on the progress made.
b) Propose an alternative timeline or solution.
Refund Policy
-
Refunds are not provided for completed or delivered work.
-
Custom work (e.g., character designs, storyboards) is non-refundable, even if the project is canceled.
-
If a refund is issued, the client has no rights to use any drafts, concepts, or incomplete work.
Postponements & Rescheduling
-
If the client wishes to postpone the project, a written request must be submitted.
-
Projects can be rescheduled within [X days] of the initial agreement, subject to availability.
-
Long-term postponements may be considered cancellations and could incur reactivation fees.
Termination for Breach of Contract
-
We reserve the right to cancel a project without a refund if the client violates the agreed-upon terms, such as:
-
Failure to provide required assets or feedback within a reasonable timeframe.
-
Non-payment or repeated delays in payment.
-
Unreasonable demands beyond the agreed scope.
Force Majeure
-
If the project is delayed or canceled due to events beyond either party’s control (e.g., natural disasters, technical failures, legal restrictions), both parties may renegotiate terms or request a refund based on the work completed.
